Company Profile

Nearly 20 years have passed since I began my career as an editor of a monthly magazine in 2005. I have been involved in the production of over 200 publications and have been directly involved in the editing and production of a variety of creative works, but I feel that the skills required of an editor have become broader and more diverse in recent years.

Unless you have the skills to create a book, as well as the ability to imagine how to deliver a single idea by linking together various elements that are associated with it, such as photography, video, experiential events, and merchandise, you will not be able to create creative work that can move the hearts of many people.

A producer, a director, and a player. Since establishing a publishing company in 2021, he has been flexibly solving problems with different perspectives, not only producing books but also developing distribution channels, advertising, providing customer support, hosting events, and managing budgets.

The imagination to generate original projects, the drive to put them into practice, and the means to reach many people... In order to resonate with different cultures, weave together elements scattered in various directions to create new value, and to respond to the needs of readers and clients in all directions, we decided to establish "BITTERS, inc.", a content label that will serve as a new creative platform to materialize original ideas.

Representative Director
Masaya Bito

Born in Gifu Prefecture in 1980. He started his career in 2005 at the editorial department of Rittor Music's Guitar Magazine, and served as editor-in-chief of Guitar Magazine in 2014 and the magazine's first producer in 2019.

In 2016, while he was the editor-in-chief, he overhauled Guitar Magazine. His editorial policy of digging deep into musical instruments, artists, genres and cultures, under the banner of "10-year feature-ism," attracted a lot of attention. In 2021, he became independent and established So Sweet Publishing Co., Ltd. as a content company. He is responsible for planning, producing and editing books such as Masatoshi Mashima's "ROCK & ROLL RECORDER" and Yusuke Chiba's "EVE OF DESTRUCTION," as well as planning and editing fan club newsletters on a commissioned basis.

In July 2024, he founded Bitters Inc., a creative platform for various companies and projects.
